I’m Yisrael, an almost 9-year-old boy who made Aliyah to Eretz Yisrael with my parents last summer when I was 7. I started this blog because I want other kids to know what Aliyah is like.

 

Here’s a picture my Mom took of me at Ben Gurion airport while we were waiting for a taxi to take us to our new home in Ma’ale Adumim. I wasn’t real happy about leaving my friends behind in America.

 


 

My Mom has blogs and I want to write like she does – you can see her Aliyah blog at Almost Eden (BTW, Mom is my editor).

 

My Dad is a DBA and a chemical engineer, you can read about him at his site.

 

My favorite food is pizza and my favorite dessert is ice cream.

 

My favorite things to play are Game Boy, games on my computer, and Bakugan with my friends.

 

And guess what? I get to eat and do all these IN Israel!
